Science & Creative Non-Fiction Writing

Lloyd films himself outdoors almost every week, bringing Aotearoa to students who can't be there in person for his writing modules. If you've ever recorded your own courses or lectures, you know casual filming comes with its own set of challenges. Background noise. The odd stumble mid-sentence.

My job is to catch all of that (sometimes more!) and fix it. So instructors like Lloyd can focus less on troubleshooting and show up as the best versions of themselves for the week's online content. Because Lloyd’s real goal, out there in the field, is to make learning feel just as alive for his students as it does for him. Even from behind a screen.

topics: humanities, literary methods, professional media

"I can't give you parts of David Attenborough; it's not like feeding you a pill and turning you into a science communicator or a science writer.
All I can do is nurture that talent that you all have inside you."
